New Update Released!
- 21 June 2022
Sonos has released a new update for its app, which includes a number of new features and fixes. The biggest change is the addition of support for Apple's AirPlay 2 standard, which allows users to stream audio from their iOS devices directly to their Sonos speakers. This is a feature that has been available on Sonos speakers for some time, but required the use of a third-party app such as Airfoil in order to work.
Other new features in the update include the ability to set a speaker's bass and treble levels directly from the app, and the ability to fine-tune the settings of individual speakers in a multi-room setup. There are also a number of bug fixes included in the update, such as the ability to properly display artwork for albums with multiple discs, and various stability improvements. The update is available now and should be automatically downloaded by all Sonos users.
You can now add songs to your queue directly from the Now Playing screen. Just tap the “+” button and select the songs you want to add. We’ve made some improvements to the way the app handles search. You should now see better results when searching for artists, albums, and songs. We’ve fixed a few bugs, including one that was causing the app to crash for some users. And last but not least, we’ve made some behind-the-scenes improvements to the way the app works. So update your app and enjoy the new features! And as always, let us know what you think in the comments.
